Audio books are commonly recorded spoken versions of books and magazines for the purpose of making reading books more convenient. Although some are electronically generated usually most people seem to prefer listening to an actual human voice reciting a novel or story. These books are often used by the blind after all anyone can get enjoyment from this category of book, from children to adults. Audio books can enable people with poor attention spans or those that simply don't have the time or inclination to read a book an opportunity to still hear the story and not miss out on the opportunity to exposure the thrill of a good story. A host of children's toys now come with variations of audio books, designed to endorse the child to develop an interest in books even before they can actually read them by oneself. These types of audio books can furthermore free up time for busy parents. Any book can be recorded onto CD's or tapes and therefore can be easily listened to on the move. They are handy when traveling or at times when there is not enough light to read by. People with poor sight that do not wish to use reading glasses in order to enjoy their favorite books can correspondingly make valuable use of audio books.
